Beaujolais All Day
It all begins with an idea.
When it comes to French red wine, Beaujolais needs to be a part of the conversation. A light-bodied red, made with Gamay grapes grown in the Beaujolais region of France, just south of Burgundy.
Pinot Noir lovers will rejoice at this love alternative. The Gamay grapes low tannin and high acidity mirror a Pinot Noir but includes light floral aromas.
Beaujolais is also an affordable wine. You shouldn’t need to spend more than $15 for a decent bottle. Some of my favorite wineries for Beaujolais are Louis Jadot and Georges Duboeuf, which can most likely be found at your local wine shop or Total Wine!
Beaujolais is a versatile wine that pairs with lots of dishes, making it a perfect wine to bring as a hostess gift!
